The xMatters REST API controls access to features using the same roles and permissions as the xMatters web user interface. While we've renamed "events" to "alerts" in the web user interface, we are not changing any of the properties, values, or labels associated with events in the REST API. ![]() For the time being, xMatters REST API items such as plans, forms, constants, endpoints, subscriptions, and integrations still contain references to plans and communication plans both in their text and code samples. We've renamed "communication plans" to "workflows" and are working to update the xMatters REST API guide to reflect those changes. Until this transition is complete, you can use endpoints from either API.įor convenience, this document includes links to supported methods from the previous API.
